Park Place A

Transitional describes the renovation of this unit. All partitions and finishes were removed except for the existing oak parquet flooring in the public living areas. The parquet flooring was infilled, patched and stained a dark walnut which provided a warm and inviting feeling to the unit. A “limestone” ceramic tile was installed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The limestone ceramic tile provided the look of a natural stone, but provided the maintenance and cost advantages of a man-made ceramic tile. The designer incorporated the client’s existing furnishings and antiques with somewhat contemporary finishes for a very comfortable and inviting décor.
